ANYTIME GIVE MATCHING GRANT
Our primary means of enhancing the quality of life in Sherman County communities is by addressing their needs with funding for improvements.
Anytime Give Matching Grants are awarded to a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, a political subdivision (such as a village or city), or a recognized interlocal board, within Sherman County.
Applications for Anytime Give Matching Grants are accepted Nov. 1 until Dec. 31 of each year. The Anytime Give program provides matching funds up to an agreed upon amount for projects the applicants plan to fundraise for. Anytime Give matching grants are awarded in February, and fundraising for the project must be completed by the end of November of the same year. Anytime Give has helped fund:
- refurbished stained glass windows, new siding, and electrical updates in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Paplin to help preserve the more than 100-year-old historical landmark.
- New kitchen appliances and cabinets in the Sherman County Senior Center and in community centers in Ashton and Litchfield.
- Landscaping in parks and new playground equipment in Loup City, Ashton, and Rockville
- New firefighting equipment for Loup City and Litchfield Fire Departments
- Office equipment and display stands for memorabilia in the Polish Heritage Center in Ashton
- Many other community improvements!
