MEMORIAL
Memorials intended for the Sherman County Community Foundation are accepted at any of the four banks in Sherman County: Heritage Bank and Citizens Bank & Trust, both in Loup City; Town and Country Bank in Litchfield; and Cornerstone Bank in Ashton. Memorials can also be mailed to the Foundation at PO Box 35 Loup City NE 68853, or made by Venmo @sccf56.
At the end of each year, the names of individuals who received memorials to the Foundation are inscribed in a Book of Memory displayed in each bank located in Sherman County.
Memorials help fund projects throughout Sherman County, such as park benches and picnic tables, and Veterans Memorials.
A list of memorialized names can be found on the “Book of Memory” tab and are updated at the end of each year.
