Annual Recognition Banquet
Each year the Sherman County Community Foundation hosts an annual recognition banquet. Held on rotating basis among the Sherman County communities, this event serves to inform invitees of the past, present and future activities and accomplishments of the Foundation and also recognizes outstanding volunteers and contributors in the communities.
Holiday Tour of Homes
Every other year, the Sherman County Community Foundation sponsors the Holiday Tour of Homes. During this event, five or six families within one of the Sherman County communities graciously open their homes for viewing from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon in December. Tour guests are treated to refreshments during the afternoon along with the opportunity to view some beautifully decorated homes. This fund-raising event not only showcases the wonderful homes within our communities but also contributes to the Foundation’s general fund.
