Ways to Give

The Sherman County Community Foundation provides you a simple, powerful, and highly personal approach to giving. And just as there are many benefits to Community Foundation donors, there are many different ways of giving, each with distinct advantages. We invite gifts and bequests of all sizes. Gifts are received from individuals, private foundations, corporations, businesses and organizations.

FRIENDS OF THE FOUNDATION

The Sherman County Community Foundation wishes to extend an invitation to you to become a Friend of the Foundation, a relatively new program established in late 2006 to generate unrestricted funds that enable the Foundation to fund worthy civic projects within our communities. Our motto is “Share Today Insure Tomorrow” which simply means a donation today will benefit a community project tomorrow.

Many of the donations and dollars that the Foundation administers have been designated for special purposes, such as scholarships, and can only be used for that purpose. However, donations made to the general fund (aka unrestricted funds) or the memorial fund can be used to help fund worthy community projects. Click here for an updated list of grants that have been funded through the Foundation.

To become a Friend of the Foundation, simply pledge a monthly or annual donation to the Foundation. Many caring and concerned citizens have already chosen to become a Friend of the Foundation and have committed an ongoing pledge.

Thank you for sharing your gifts today to insure a bright future for Sherman County.
